Breakfast Time: God's Property

31-Day Daily Devotional on Redemption

Greetings!

(Ephesians 4:30 NKJV) "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption".

The Holy Spirit in you has been given to help you enforce the fullness of your redemption. He is committed to you forever having branded you as God's property.

Until you realize the role of the Holy Spirit in your redemption, your walk as a Christian may not be that smooth. The Holy Spirit teaches you the reality of your redemption by revealing every detail of it to you. He strengthens your human spirit and instructs on how to enforce your redemptive rights. In fact, He is everything where your redemption is concerned.

How are you treating the Holy Spirit? Note that He is a Person and He is grieved when you do not give Him the opportunity to do what He is called to do in your life. You have a responsibility to supply the right atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to work in your life.

Child of God, make the Word available for the Holy Spirit to work with by meditating on scriptures regularly. Commune with God in prayer through Him and be willing to abide by His leading. Cooperate with Him so that He can do what He has been assigned to do in you. Remember the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of your full redemption.

DAILY SCRIPTURE READING: Ephesians 4:1-32

MY DAILY CONFESSION

Jesus has paid the price for my total freedom in life. I have been bought with a price. Therefore, I glorify God in my body and spirit. For sin, I have received righteousness. For sickness, I have good health. And for poverty, I have abundance.

Jesus knew no sin but He became sin that I might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus Himself bore my grief, sicknesses, weaknesses and distress, and carried my sorrows and pains; He was wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities, the chastening for my peace and well-being fell upon Him and with His stripes I am healed.

I know the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ. Though He was very rich yet He became very poor in order that I can be made rich through His poverty. I shall not frustrate the grace of God because I am walking in the fullness of my redemptive rights.

I stand fast in the liberty I have received as a child of God. I will not be entangled any longer in the yoke of slavery. I am totally free from every form of oppression of the evil one.

I boldly declare according to Galatians 3:13 that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am completely free from the curse of sin, sickness and poverty.
