Malcolm X’s Grandson Robbed And Killed In Mexico




Grandson of slain civil rights icon, Malcolm X Malcolm Shabazz was robbed and killed in Tijuana, Mexico on May 9th.
According to reports, Shabazz died from injuries sustained after he was thrown off a building as he was being robbed.
A close family friend, Terrie M. Williams tweeted hours ago, “I’m confirming, per US Embassy, on behalf of family, the tragic death of Malcolm Shabazz, grandson of Malcolm X. Statement from family 2 come.
Shabazz was also the son of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz’s second daughter, Qubilah Shabazz. His father is an Algerian Muslim whom Qubilah met in Paris while on vacation.
Also, in 1997, Shabazz who was just 12 years-old at the time, set a fire that caused the death of his grandmother, Betty. He was later charged and released from prison in 2009.

Upon his release, he gave an exclusive to GIANT magazine, admitting he does have a troubled past but is still learning as he go along.
